Eyeliner Hacks with Everyday Items
There are plenty of everyday objects, which can help you get the perfect line with your eyeliner. An eraser, a name card, a bobby pin are a few of the items which help you get that perfect look you want, with your eyeliner. They are particularly useful to help you get that winged eyeliner look with your eyeliner. These aids are also helpful for those who may not be good with their hands and do not have the patience to sit in front of a mirror and practice the whole day.
Read these hacks to perfect your eyeliner look with these simple aids:
1. Winged eyeliner with an eraser
Take an eraser and cut it into the shape of a sharp isosceles triangle. Glue the cut eraser chunk to a Q-tip. Face the side, which was cut by a scissor as the top side. Smother the eraser in a liquid liner and swipe it across your lid. Drag the pointer end of the er from the outside corner of the lid inwards, maintaining the shape you want. This hack may take some time to perfect but it is worth a try.
2. Winged eyeliner with a bobby pin
Coat the narrow v-shaped opening of the pin with liquid liner. Then, press it against the eye which you want the wings to be on and stamp it on the eyelid. This will create an outline of the eye. After this, etch it along the root of her upper lash line. Fill in the winged liner outline and draw across towards the inner corner of the eye with the liner to complete the look.
3. Business card eyeliner trick to get a straight line
Whether you are using a pencil, liquid or gel eyeliner, drawing a perfectly straight line is not easy. Instead of trying to fix your mistakes, use a business card to get a straight flick at the outer corner of your eyes. Whether it is a cat-eye look or just a little eyeliner extension, use the business card to form an angle and apply the liner on the edge with the card as the border. Take the long edge of a business card and hold it up diagonally against the corner of your eye. Use the edge to draw a perfect wing with your eyeliner. Then line the rest of your eye as usual and connect it to the wings you created.
4. Perfect winged eyeliner with a spoon
Get to your kitchen and pick up your spoon to get that perfect winged eyeliner look you always longed for. Hold the handle of the spoon at the outer corner of your eye and draw a straight line with your eyeliner. Place the rounded portion of the spoon and cup your eyelids to get a curve. Fill the space between the two lines and extend the liner onto the upper lash line like you normally do.
